Here is the original layout of the kitchen and laundry
room.
With the new plan we relocated the laundry room to a
second floor closet, opened up the doorway to the dining room with some new Reeded glass pocket doors and created a nice island.
This picture shows the new cabinetry
being installed.

The blue areas on the cabinetry is a protective
film.
In this kitchen we decided to go with white cabinetry, but a cherry color island.
The island was ordered
with stock cabinets which we cut to create a true furniture style piece. We removed the base of the cabinets
and installed bun feet.
The picture below shows some custom Cherry bookcases we built and stained
to match the island.
Here is another shot looking the other direction.
You can see the cabinetry which surrounds the frig in the right side of the photo. If you look closely you can see the plastic
walls we install to keep the work area dust to a minimum from migrating throughout the home.
